I don't know if they're locusts or cicadas but I'm guessing with no one spraying pesticides anymore that insect populations would be a problem in this world. Pamela Milton is the daughter of the President at the time the outbreak started so of course she's running things and is trying to keep the old world alive. I know the Commonwealth is annoying to you but it's in the comics and the show mostly sticks to that format. People would be trying to keep the life they knew afloat so these types of communities would exist. Or they can go the opposite way and create their own new culture like the scavengers and Jadis with their strange dialect, lol

Leah was one of the most tragic characters! Daryl had to put her down like a rabid dog!

that buzzing is Cicadas. they are burrowing insects who only emerge every 7-14yrs, when they do they make DEAFENING amounts of noise and will eat crops down to the ground. earlier this year in my home of TN , we has a 7yr and 14yr brood of cicadas emerge simultaneously. it was awful. PS- pamela milton was the daughter of the president in office when Wildfire broke out. this explains a LOT of her "dynastic" attitudes and such.

This episode always stuck with me, the rob Yang scene made me so sick, I’ve never felt so bad for a character before. I’m just glad that they showed Elizabeth doing everything she could, not to go through with it and feeling very guilty or it would have made me hate her.

Yeah, the intensity in the plot has been ramping way up in this episode, and the last three episodes of this season are each more and more intense. Great season.

11:30 I think she probably went out of her way to find a wine that he had probably never tried and would be really keen to try. She probably paid attention to everything he said about wine whenever she was with him, for like a year, building up to this part of the operation to make sure he would take the drink and that it would not be a familiar flavor.

The way the show depicts EVERYONE in America watching The Day After is pretty accurate. We all watched it.

Grey wolf, I love your content, but the show audio is so loud compared with your voice audio that the automatic captions don’t even pick up what you said a lot of the time, and even when I rewind and listen again I can’t make out what you said. I know everyone hates it when the show volume is too low in reaction vids, but in your case I think it’s too high. I just want to hear what you’re saying.

Definitely worth continuing on with the series. Great character growth, many guest stars with some who return many times spanning most of the series. Not every episode is great but overall excellent series

Kate and Tony seem to have a sibling rivalry. Constantly bickering and harassing each other and Gibbs as the father figure.

I know he's done with the show so I'll just comment for this ep only but it's insane how he wants everyone to get blown up at the Commonwealth when the people who live there are not bad, just the people who run it. The hospital full of people? Tomi? (Yumiko's brother) The care center Ezekiel started with the animals and elders? The kids running around? The people forced to go into that mansion and get money? It was shown many times that the people are good and simply living the normal life and it's working! But of course bad things happen and that's why we try to take out the people who run it. They are the only ones that need to be gone. This was also very clear with the Sanctuary. Not everyone with Negan was bad. That was shown to us as well.

i really hope you start reacting to "The Ones Who live". Its absolutely peak walking dead and will leave you satisfied!

It’s been two years since this reaction. I hope you’ve seen her live version from the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Every version I’ve seen her do, I always go back to that one.

What I hear when I listen to this song is a man whose loved one has begged for him to end her pain. He counts down: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. But he can’t do it so he starts again and this time he is successful. I feel like this is why there are two countdowns in the beginning. The other clue that this is her choice and not his is a small detail. “I know he knows” rather than “I know he thinks” makes me believe she has had to tell him she wants this and I also think she is worried about leaving him in such a state so she is also convincing herself “It’s okay. He knows it’s mercy. I know he knows it’s mercy,” and then she “go-oh-oh-oh-oes” and the vocalizations and utterances during the “ohs” of the word go perfectly illustrate her feeling of relief, hesitancy, concern, freedom, lightness, that death brings and it’s so beautiful. And then it is contrasted by this man, still here on earth, holding her body tight as he “cries and cries.” It’s a perfect composition. I have not seen her talk about the meaning of this song or read any actual interview from her about it. This is just what I hear when I listen to the song.

I can't believe you are almost done with this epic show. Your reactions are so similar to the reaction I had to each episode. Rewatching with the knowledge of what comes next makes good episodes better and episodes I didn't like are also better knowing how it turns out in the end. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes.

Amazing episode Can’t believe all these years and Seasons it took this long for them to finally have someone drop the F bomb on this show and now you see Daryl using it It’s funny because his brother Merle used the N word at the beginning towards T Dog and now Daryl using the F bomb It’s kind of a big missed opportunity because Negan in the comics uses the F bomb a lot and in the show they gave it to Daryl seeing him here just use it as Negan in the show never used it so far which is kinda BS Lmfao.

Josh Hamilton is so good as Lance Hornsby he gets more intriguing with each episode yeah he’s a worm but he’s an interesting worm the show is really spotlighting Lance compared to his comic counterpart who was more of a minor character and the show is doing more with his character than the comics which is nice because Lance in the show is a combination of villains that we hate to love but we just can’t help but respect them in a small way like Thanos and Cersei because all three characters are ones who have a set vision and know what they want out of it as well as working their butts off to get to where they are no matter what they had to do to get there.

When Daryl spun around and aimed the rifle at Lance and dropped the F bomb at the perfect moment I screamed out loud too We don’t really get enough in the show.

Just a thought but you need an Assassin to take out Maggie.

Just on the subject of Mercer for a moment I don’t think he is on the block I’m pretty confident that nobody is going to take down Max unless they are convinced she’s against them Problem with going after Mercer is you try and fail he’s coming for you Problem with going after Max you hurt her Mercer is coming after you and I feel that the local heads of the Commonwealth would legitimately question their safety being protected by their soldiers if they turn Mercer against them or if they kill Mercer without fully discrediting him.

I just can’t get over how similar Judith looks to Sophia in the shot where they go to school it just breaks my heart.

I remember when I watched Daryl drop the F bomb I gasped so hard lmao they were never allowed to say it.

Khary Payton told the writers that if they were ever going to kill off Ezekiel to make sure it’s true to his character and with his head held high rather than broken and defeated Make sure of that what you will.

They actor playing Hornsby is so good at playing a complete snake.
